It is hard to believe that we are already half way through Summer Laureate! We have been hard at work learning about the Human Body & Movement. Students created life size skeletons of themselves, stop-motion videos demonstrating skeletal movement, and have been learning about the muscular, nervous, and skeletal systems. This week, they have shifted their focus to animal movement. Students have chosen a specific animal to independently research. They are going to create their own Non-Fiction book and are also working on digital additions to compliment these. Next week, we will begin mechanical movement and create our own robots! Please remember to bring in recyclable materials on Monday.
